SQL Compliance Manager (CM) is the leading SQL Server auditing solution in the industry, SQL Compliance Manager empowers companies to maintain database compliance standards with ease and confidence while preparing for compliance audits. With just a single button click, SQL Compliance Manager configures SQL Servers to capture the data required for compliance with various regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, CIS, SOX, DISA/STIG, NERC, and FERPA. The captured data is securely stored in the Compliance Manager Repository, and audit reports are generated to demonstrate the resulting compliance status. Our system of flexible alerting rules allows for alerts to be generated across a broad range of significant, suspicious, or undesired activities, ensuring a proactive approach to maintaining compliance.
The SQL Compliance Manager 6.2 release is focused on providing a range of new features, enhanced security and improvements upon existing features, including superior encryption algorithms, command line interface improvements,notification rules in emails and email summaries and a set of customer requested enhancements.
The security of the product has been enhanced by deploying a strong Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm that greatly increases encryption security and better performance to meet the latest high standards of our large enterprise customers.
In order to make the determination if an Alert Rule has been configured as ‘Email Notification’ or ‘Email Summary Notification’, users no longer are required to edit the alert rule. The rule description has been enhanced to make it convenient to distinguish between the two without the need for alert rule modifications.
SQL CM provides a CLI command line for registering a server, grooming, archiving, and verifying audit data integrity – version 6.2 is now augmented with CLI for enabling and disabling auditing servers.
All relevant SQL CM reports have been enhanced to include the ‘number of rows’ information to provide the user an idea about how much information exists before scrolling through them.
Numerous quality enhancements reported by customers are addressed. The prominent ones include enhancements related to DDL/DML events, login/logout events, extended events capture and missing icons.
