For your trial of Uptime Infrastructure Monitor, you need to perform these actions:

1. Install a monitoring station.
2. Install a server agent, which is optional for Microsoft Windows.
3. Copy and paste your trial license key into your installed trial software.

Step 1: Select an Uptime Infrastructure Monitoring Station

Note: If you work with a Windows-centric IT environment, then we
recommend that you use the Windows version of the monitoring station. This will provide you with
agentless monitoring for your Windows Servers and Hyper-V hosts.

The free, fully-functional, 30-day trial starts when IDERA creates the
license key.

Step 2: Select an Uptime Infrastructure Monitoring Server Agent

Note: For users downloading the Linux-based monitoring station, an
agent is required to monitor servers directly. Agentlessly monitor VMWare, Novell, and devices that use
the Net-SNMP library or SNMP. Agentless monitoring for VMWare ESX and VM guests for resource consumption
is available. However, their process and filesystem level information must be gathered additionally with
an agent for Linux, or with WMI or an agent for Windows.
