Basic Install

  • Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, SharePoint foundation 2010, SharePoint server 2010
  • Microsoft .Net 3.5 or later
  • Authentication: Windows authentication
  • Repository: SQL Server 2000 SP4, SQL Server 2005 SP1 or SP2 or SQL Server 2008

Administrative privileges required

  • Installation: Installer must have SharePoint farm administration rights
  • Idera SharePoint enterprise manager administrator: Administrative permissions to SharePoint enterprise manager are applied through application interface, no server rights required
  • User: Minimum read access to the SharePoint site collection that SharePoint enterprise manager is managing
  • Feature Delegation: All features within SharePoint enterprise manager application are available for specific delegation to selected individuals at each site collection level.
