Chris Hyde

Chris Hyde

Chris Hyde is an independent SQL Server BI and DBA consultant based in Albuquerque, NM. Chris is an active community member and well-liked within the SQL Family. He is the Group Leader for the Albuquerque SQL Server User Group and the Organizer of the SQL Train between SQL Saturday Portland and PASS Summit. He ran for the 2017 PASS Board this year and is currently serving as a 2018 IDERA ACE. Chris is a dog person but recently has become acquainted with three kittens who like to watch Premier League football with him on Saturday mornings. He loves loud music and cricket, but not usually at the same time.

Homer McEwen

Homer McEwen, aka KillaDBA, is an IT professional with 22 years of experience. He landed his first job as a database administrator in 1997 with a Georgia health department and continued his DBA career at the corporate office of The Home Depot, starting to work with SQL Server in 2000. He's been with BCD Travel, Inc. since 2010 and is pursuing a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Homer has a passion for music, which he has combined with his career, by writing songs and performing about the ever-changing and exciting world of databases, bits, bytes and coding. Kenneth Fisher has worked with databases of one flavor or another for his entire career. Currently he specializes in SQL Server and is considered a Microsoft Data Platform MVP. His SQL Server resources portray his creativity and versatility - he has lead efforts on crossword puzzles, whitepapers, blogs, SQL Chats and more. Outside of that he builds small metal models, reads science fiction and fantasy, and helps his wife of 20 years raise their two amazing children.

Lance Tidwell

Lance Tidwell, from the Austin, TX, area, has worked as a SQL Server DBA for the last 11 years. During his time as a DBA he has found his passion for all things SQL, but specifically for performance tuning. He has a life-long quest to always be learning new things; currently this quest has lead him to explore more about the Data Analytics/ Data Science areas, as well as working toward the Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Data Science. Lance is well-liked within the SQL Family and served as a 2017 IDERA ACE. He gives back to the community by traveling across the US and Canada presenting at user groups and SQL Saturdays on a variety of SQL topics. During his spare time, he volunteers at his son's school as a member of Watch D.O.G.S. and as an off-ice official for the American Hockey League (AHL).

Matt Gordon

Matt Gordon

Matt has worked with SQL Server since 2000 and has worked with versions up to and including SQL Server 2017. He is the leader of the Lexington, KY chapter of PASS, a frequent SQL Saturday and user group speaker, and speaker at PASS Summit 2017. His original data professional role was as a database developer, but that quickly evolved into query tuning work which further evolved into being a full-fledged DBA in the healthcare realm. He has supported critical systems utilizing SQL Server across multiple data centers and managed dozens of 24/7/365 SQL Server implementations. He currently utilizes those years of real world experience as a national Microsoft data platform consultant helping clients design deployment solutions that meet their ever-changing business needs.

Rie Irish

Rie Irish

Rie is a single Mom raising her daughter in North Georgia. She has been a SQL Server DBA for over 20 years. She's worked in many industries including the nonprofit sector, big pharma, federal contracting, eDiscovery and payment processing. She is currently Director of Database Administration for a payment security firm in Atlanta. She is very involved with the Atlanta MDF User Group and serves as Executive Director of their SQL Saturday. She is also the co-leader for the PASS Women in Technology Virtual Group. She served as a 2017 IDERA ACE and is a Microsoft MVP on the Data Platform.

Samir Behara has 12 years of IT experience and currently works as a Senior Developer in EBSCO Industries. He has been involved with large-scaled applications having complex business functionalities, web integration and data management. Tracy Boggiano

Tracy Boggiano

Tracy Boggiano is the Database Superhero for ChannelAdvisor. She has spent over 20 years in IT and has used SQL Server since 1999. Tracy covers all aspects of administration and deals heavily with performance tuning and high availability / disaster recovery. She is certified in MCSE Data Management and Analytics. Tracy is a co-organizer of a Special Interest Group (SIG) dedicated to advanced DBA topics in her local user group TriPass. Before she worked full-time as a DBA, she was formerly a developer and network administrator. She also tinkered with databases in middle/high school to keep her sports card collection organized. Tracy loves attending and speaking at conferences and events - she attended 18 SQL Saturdays this year alone! Tracy has volunteered through the NC Guardian ad Litem program since 2003 advocating for abused and neglected foster children in court. She loves children and this program is her passion outside of SQL Server. Tracy is currently serving as a 2018 IDERA ACE and just received the PASS Outstanding Volunteer Award for November 2017.
