Q: What is the SQL admin toolset?

A: It's 24 useful tools that help solve every SQL Server admin problem know to man<g>.

Seriously, talking to our customers, we found that many of you have spent a *ton* of time developing custom scripts to do everyday admin tasks. It was obvious that you needed a toolset designed to take care of these tasks so you could chuck your scripts and get your life back! So, we talked to customers and came up with a list of 24 tools that handled the most common tasks we heard about. We think they are pretty darned useful and will save you a bunch of time.

Q: Why are so many tools disabled and greyed out on the launchpad?

A: Sorry, some of the tools are still in the shop with the team tinkering under their hood to get them ready for you. We will be releasing them in blocks over the next few weeks. We'll send you a weekly update to let you know when they are ready.

Q: How much will it cost?

A: The SQL admin toolset will cost $495 for each machine you install it on.
