Rick Pleczko, President and Chief Executive Officer

Rick Pleczko is the president, CEO and co-founder of Idera, Inc. Prior to Idera, Inc., Rick held senior executive positions in a number of leading software companies including LBMS, Platinum Technology, Mission Critical Software, and most recently NetIQ Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise systems and security management solutions, where he served as executive vice president of worldwide marketing. A 25+ year veteran of the systems and database management software industry, Rick has held positions ranging from software engineer and DBA to CEO.

York Richards, Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, York Richards brings over 15 years experience in corporate finance, strategic planning and management to Idera, Inc. Prior to joining Idera, Inc., York managed the development and execution of the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program at BMC software. Prior to Joining BMC, York held a number of senior financial management positions, including Director of Finance for NetIQ Corporation, Controller for PentaSafe Security Technologies and Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers.

James Legg, Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Jim Legg is responsible for Worldwide sales at Idera, Inc.. With over 20 years of sales management experience, Jim has proven expertise in building and growing highly efficient sales operations. Prior to joining Idera Jim was Vice President of Sales at NetIQ Corporation and PentaSafe Security Technologies where he generated over 900% revenue growth in five years. Prior to PentaSafe Jim served as the Director of Sales at Peregrine Systems and BMC Software. Jim attended the University of Denver and continued graduate studies at the University of Michigan.

Rod Endo, Vice President, Idera Division

Rod Endo is responsible for product strategy, management, research and development for the Idera portfolio of Windows Systems management products. Prior to Idera, Inc., he founded PointSecure a security software company where he served as CEO and COO. Prior to PointSecure, Rod served as a senior financial analyst for Compaq Computer Corporation and was responsible for the management and oversight of OEM relationships. Prior to Compaq, Rod held various positions in product marketing and business development. Rod has also performed gene therapy research at Scripps Research Institute.

David Wartell, Vice President, R1Soft Division

David Wartell is responsible for product strategy, management, research and development for the R1Soft portfolio of Linux and Windows continuous data protection products. Prior to joining Idera, Inc., David founded Righteous Software Inc. where he served as President and CEO, developing the industry leading R1Soft Continuous Data Protection product for Linux Servers. David has over 10 years experience in software development and Internet infrastructure management. Before founding R1Soft David served as the Senior Network Engineer for hosting providers EV1 and The Planet where he was responsible for one of the world’s largest networks, supporting over 20,000 Linux and Windows servers and over 25 Gigabits of Internet connectivity.

John Thornton, General Partner, Austin Ventures

John Thornton is a general partner at Austin Ventures and has been with them since 1991. He is actively involved in managing the firm's overall operations and focuses on software investing. Previously, Mr. Thornton was with McKinsey & Co., where he served clients in the U.S. and Europe . He has worked with companies such as Active Power, Dazel, Metasolv, Mission Critical, Vignette, Motive, Pentasafe, and Waveset. Mr. Thornton received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his BA summa cum laude from Trinity University , where he graduated first in his class. He is a founding board member of the Austin Entrepreneur's Foundation and a trustee of Trinity University and the Austin Museum of Art.

Michael S. Bennett, President & CEO Solarwinds

Michael S. Bennett is chief executive officer and president of SolarWinds, a leader in network management software. A 30-year veteran in the network and systems management industry, Michael has successfully led a number of private and public high-tech companies as CEO, including Mission Critical Software until its acquisition by NetIQ Corporation in 2000, Learmonth & Burchett Management Systems and Summagraphics. As a venture partner at Austin Ventures, Michael co-founded AlterPoint in 2001, a leading provider of intelligent network change and configuration management solutions. Most recently, Michael was president and CEO of Permeo Technologies Inc., a leading provider of on-demand information security solutions, from March 2004 until its acquisition by Blue Coat Systems in April 2006. Michael was the recipient of the 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the communications and software category.

Keith Kreuer

Keith Kreuer has over 22 years of experience building software and services companies. Mr. Kreuer was a co-founder of PentaSafe Security Technologies where his most recent position was director of global services. Prior to PentaSafe, Mr. Kreuer was president and CEO of Penta, Inc., a Houston-based applications development and systems integration firm that he co-founded in 1991 and COO at VeriCenter Inc, a Houston-based Managed Service Provider. He has also held management positions at Ernst and Young, Generator Systems and Exxon USA . Mr. Kreuer serves on the Board of Directors of Target Hunger and is a charter member of the IT advisory committee for North Harris Community College.

Mike Clark

Mike Clark, has extensive experience as an early stage entrepreneur. Mr. Clark co-founded PointSecure, Inc. where he served as the company's chief executive officer and vice president of business development. Prior to PointSecure, Mr. Clark co-founded PentaSafe Security Technologies, Inc. where he served as vice president. His duties included strategic planning, sales management, partnership development, and strategic acquisition identification. Mr. Clark was named a finalist in the 1999 Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" awards program. Prior to PentaSafe, Mr. Clark was a sales executive with BindView Development Corporation, a Houston-based systems management software company.
